Unredeemed
The cruelest world
The coldest heart
The deepest wound
The endless dark
The lonely ache
The burning tears
The bitter nights
The wasted yearsLife breaks and falls apart
But we know these are
Places where grace is soon to be so amazing
It may be unfulfilled
It may be unrestored
But when anything that’s shattered is laid before the Lord
Just watch and see
It will not be unredeemedFor every choice that led to shame
And all the love that never came
For every vow that someone broke
And every lie that gave up hope
We live in the shadow of the fall
But the cross says these are all
Places where grace is soon to be so amazing
It may be unfulfilled
It may be unrestored
But when anything that’s shattered is laid before the Lord
Just watch and see
It will not be unredeemedPlaces where grace is soon to be so amazing
It may be unfulfilled
It may be unrestored
But you never know the miracle the Father has in store
Just watch and see
It will not be
Just watch and see
It will not be unredeemed

Hey Vivian – it’s Melissa Gresham from college! I’ve been following your blog for a while and would flip to it from time to time before I subscribed. I emailed you a few times as well, years ago now I think, but must have the wrong address or something. Anyway – I just wanted to tell you that I’ve been enjoying reading and you have some great talent and passion behind your words. I have appreciated and valued certain pieces of your writings very much and always look forward to the next. I have a blog as well that I’ve been keeping up with for some time now, too. It’s climbingbackupp.blogspot.com. I know you’ve got a lot going on now – especially with all your little ones running around (who are adorable by the way), but just wanted to let you know I often think of you and hope you are doing well.
