Free to run and play

“If I am sleepless at night,
I spend the hours in grateful reflection.
Because you have always stood up for me
I’m free to run and play.
You hold me steady as a post.”
-Psalm 32 (Message)

“But the brother of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position;
and the rich man is to glory in his humiliation , because like the grass he will pass away.

For the sun rises with a scorching wind and withers the grass; and it’s flower falls off and the beauty of its appearance is destroyed,
so too the RICH MAN IN THE MIDST OF HIS PURSUITS WILL FADE AWAY.”
-James 1:9-11

Amen!!
I have never felt so free as when I decided to embrace my ’so called poverty’ and enjoy simplicity. Knowing that all I really need is food/a roof/clothing and those I love, makes it easier to be content, and there’s less to ask God to provide for!!
