I get kind of irritated hearing all the catchy slogans and "green" this and that (which I use, incidentally). It does make it seem like a trend, doesn't it? By the media "trending" it up and trying to make us feel all hip for our new greener purchases, they're setting us up for feeling outdated with these same decisions someday. Saying something is green will eventually become cliche instead of just becoming a way of life. Like bellbottoms. Will my son grow up to roll his eyes at me when I tell him to clean the windows with vinegar water? "Geez, mom, that's so 2008!" There. I just did my post. Phew! I know people in varying degrees of saving the environment and think that just because someone isn't an extremist doesn't mean that person isn't doing themselves and the planet some good.
