I really like Generous Orthodoxy- I have to read a little and then think on it a few days, then read some more- its quirky and funny and sarcastic, yet very serious and genuine too. I've read much of Blue Like Jazz, but not all. Its very good too! I'm so glad that we are able to be open to books like these in the book club! I can't wait to be able to talk to other people about it- it sucks reading stuff like this by yourself! That conference sounds SO awesome! How did you hear about it?
